Dear SPBB Member,

        Greetings!

It’s my pleasure to inform you that the new Executive Committee (EC) of the Society for Plant Biochemistry and Biotechnology (SPBB) has to be elected for the next three year term (2024-2027) for the following positions:

             President : 01
  Vice-Presidents : 02
             Secretary : 01
   Joint Secretary : 01
             Treasurer : 01
             Members : 15 (Out of the 15 positions, 12 positions will be elected and rest of the 03 positions will be filled by the new elected Executive Committee)

I have been entrusted with task of conducting the SPBB election. Kindly submit the Nomination form available on https://forms.gle/ZQZQm7JpRiweUHWZ7 latest by 15th June, 2024. 

Before filling the form, please go through the following information/instructions:

1. Headquarters
(a) Division of Biochemistry, ICAR-IARI, Pusa Campus, New Delhi
(b) ICAR-National Institute for Plant Biotechnology (NIPB), Pusa Campus, New Delhi

2. Following positions will be nominated from the Headquarters only:
(a) Vice-President-I
(b) Secretary
(c) Joint Secretary
(d) Treasurer

3. Please check the names of the nominee in the above members’ list before nominating him/her.

4. Please ensure to have consent from the person you wish to nominate him/her for a position(s) in the new Executive Committee.

5. At least two nominations (as proposer and seconder) are required in favour of a member to be nominated/accepted for the election (if needed). Self nomination will not be considered.

6. Any other relevant information will be updated on website timely.
