SOCIETY FOR PLANT BIOCHEMISTRY AND BIOTECHNOLOGY
Ordinary and Life Membership shall be open to all individuals, engaged in research and teaching in the field of Plant Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology and those who have interest in promoting research in these areas and have a minimum qualification of Post- Graduate level.
Student Membership shall be open to all bonafide full-time Post Graduate students engaged in studies related to Plant Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology.
Institutional Membership shall be open to all the organisations interested in promoting the cause of Plant Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology.
To be present and vote in all General Body Meetings.
To hold any office of the society on being duly selected (Student and Institutional members cannot contest an election).
To receive free or concessional supplies of publications brought out by the Society.
To receive invitation to all Seminars, symposia etc.’ organized by the society.
To be members of any of the subcommittees which may be constituted by the General Body or Executive council.
To have such other right and privileges, which may be decided by the General Body from time to time.
