B. Guidelines for abstract submission for SPBB-Springer Young Scientist Presentation
Including guidelines of A
SPBB-Springer Young Scientist Award 2026 to the young scientists/students (Ph.D.)/ researchers in the field of Plant Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, and Life Sciences.

- Advances in Nutritional Biochemistry & Post-Harvest Management

Depending on the number and/or quality of Abstracts submitted for the SPBB-Springer Young Scientist Award 2026 (under different theme areas), top 12 participants will be called for making presentations in five theme areas only during the National Conference 2026.
Maximum number of awards: 05
- Age limit: up to 35 years
- Qualification: Ph.D. (Ph.D. students must have completed >3 years since their registration) in the fields of Plant Biochemistry/Biotechnology.
- Candidates (3x) for the SPBB-Springer Young Scientist Award might be called for competitive (oral) presentations based on the assessment of Abstracts submitted by the eligible participants (≤35 years of age, actively involved in research) and opted for the award presentation.
- The candidate must have ≥2 Research papers published in reputed journals (Impact Factor ≥3 OR NAAS Rating ≥9). However, a candidate can make a mention of up to 5 best research (Not Review) papers.
- The Abstract must be concise (including introduction, objective of the study, results & discussion), clearly written using good English, not exceeding 300 words, and prepared using the template provided. No Figure/Table will be allowed in the abstract.
- The shortlisted candidate(s) will have to make an oral presentation(s) of the work within the allotted time (7 min) period, followed by an interactive session with audience/evaluation committee.
- Applicant must register for any one of the relevant Technical Sessions (6) of the SPBB National Conference 2026.
- The awards shall be presented during the SPBB National Conference on ‘Advances in Biochemistry & Biotechnology for Nutritional Security in the Era of Climate Change’ at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, Bihar.
- No TA/DA will be provided to appear for the award presentation.
- Other terms and conditions, at the discretion of the Organising Committee of the SPBB National Conference 2026, will be informed timely.
